His message came before the ruling party decided to suspend the treatment of the chapter that proposed modifying the current regime on the acquisition of rural land by foreigners, within the private property inviolability project.
Prior to that decision, Martínez used his social media to share a publication from Amnesty Argentina and accompanied the video with a strong message. " Argentine lands are not for sale!", he wrote along with two angry emojis. The material aimed to question the reform and called for a mobilization in front of Congress this Friday under the slogan " Argentina is not for sale".
The video reposted by Licha in his stories shows different landscapes and natural resources of the country while warning about the consequences that, according to Amnesty Argentina, a modification of the current legislation could have. Furthermore, it concludes with one of the central slogans of the campaign: " Defending the land is defending human rights".

Nonetheless, it is not the first time that the Manchester United defender expresses himself on matters beyond sports.
