That Wednesday, in the imposing Atlanta stadium, one of the most important chapters in Argentine football history was written, with the 2-1 comeback against England in the World Cup semi-final. Three Wednesdays later, the AFA Executive Committee announced that that calendar day would be celebrated as the "Day of National Football Teams," to commemorate the Scaloneta's feat. In addition, it was agreed to close that chapter with another gesture: the iconic "Malvinas are Argentinian" flag that fell from the stands and was used by the players to celebrate before the eyes of the world will be handed over to a war museum set up by combatants.
